If you guys aren’t familiar with Consumerist.com, spend your pre-holiday Wednesday getting familiar. The horrible expectations of call centers that they shine a light on are why we are able to be so successful.
We should be fighting every day against the anti-common-sense philosophies that you see represented there. Treat people well and take ownership of their issues.
If you take that to heart and still don’t handle something ideally, we can look at that after the fact and find a better way to do it next time.
